Legislative Issues Peer Learning Session

Come and learn about Asset Building issues coming before the legislature this session including financial education in schools and eliminating TANF asset limits.  We will also discuss the CT Retirement Security Board's proposal.  Come prepared not just to hear about policy, but also to learn how to advocate for it - and to take action to make it happen!

A light breakfast and networking will be available from 9 to 9:30.

Guest speakers: Chris Lee, CT Jump$tart; Nancy Boone, CT Association for Basic Human Needs (CABHN)  and John Erlingheuser, AARP

Parking options:  There is a fee (assume $10 each for a few hours) for parking in the garage.  2 hour parking on Oak Street at meter.  There is free parking across Capitol Avenue at the LOB.
